Two Day - Screenwriting Class

April 5th and 6th

 

Award winning screen writer Joe Davison, will be holding a two day screen writing workshop from conception to completion. Learn how to develop environments, characters, conflicts and resolutions in addition to proper format and construction.


The class will include how to create a provocative working script with highs and lows, the knowledge to market your script, and how to copyright and pitch your film to agents with log lines, and summaries.


The two day class is only $75.00 per student. Students will be required to bring a laptop or a notebook as there will be required writing assignments on the first day. Classes will run eight hours from 10 am to 6 pm with a lunch break at some point.


Joe Davison has worked on films in England, Germany, and in the US for the last twelve years. He has eight complete feature length screenplays, three of which have won awards, three short screenplays, and a novel. His script 100 Tears won audience choice at Scream Feast with Blood Bath and Present Day both winning runner up in the Austin Film Festival script writing contest. As a producer he has produced nine films, and had directorial debut in England on Duck Feeder; a romantic comedy.


He is also the founder of the Tampa Film Network; a local resource for film makers and his production company; Pop Gun Pictures.
